Howdy! September was a crazy month behind the curtain here at Story Tiller. A lot is in the works, most of which revolves around the final touches for Guardian and the announcement of its launch! Expect news on that this month!

- October 17th: Chapter 2 Preview for Guardian

- October 31st: Chapter 3 Preview for Guardian
THREE chapter previews in the same month! These will also be the last chapter previews released for Guardian. (So, you can probably guess the book itself isn’t too far behind!)
Unlike the first Wildlands short story, which was a series of vignettes from the past, the next short story takes place only two decades before the events of Guardian and features a pair of characters that will return in the book itself. While these short stories aren’t meant to spoil the plot of Guardian or future books in the series, they do provide greater depth of lore and character development that didn’t make it into the final manuscript.
Something that isn’t on the calendar above: Guardian’s launch announcement. My artist and I are closing in on a final cover image and I expect that to finish this month! As mentioned before, it’s the final piece before officially announcing Guardian’s launch date. (Yes, Guardian is still coming out in 2024! In print, too!) So, be on the lookout for that sometime this month as well!
